Avicii album set to be released in 2018

"It was honestly Avicii's best music for many years," said record company manager Neil Jacobs in an interview in Variety, speaking about over 200 tracks that have reportedly been produced but not released by the late DJ.
According to the entertainment magazine Nöjesbladet, we can expect a new Avicii album some time this year, after his family members held "secret talks" with record company representatives, with record company manager Neil Jacobs stating that they were sifting through these 200 songs and formulating a list of the hopefuls for the new album.

In what certainly isn't a way of cashing in on Avicii's death... *ahem*... his family were quick to jump on this unreleased music and get to work with the record company to get it released. And judging by previous success of posthumous record releases, like Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, etc etc, it's clear that this "not a money spinner" will be quite the money spinner.

But, what's good for them is good for us, as we look forward to the new album!
