Calvin Harris drowns everyone on the DJ rich list for 2017

Calvin Harris has smashed the Forbes highesty paid DJs list for the fifth sucessive time this year, with an income of a staggering $48.5m, roughly as much as Marshmello and the Chainsmokers combined.
Speaking of Marshmello, he has entered at number 8 on the list with an impressive $21m, made even more impressive seeing as though he has only been in the limelight for less than 3 years.

“We're creating more of a faceless brand,” said Marshmello’s manager, Moe Shalizi. “That's Marshmello ... he's only about two and a half years old and he’s one of the biggest DJs in the world.”

Chainsmokers come in third place with $38m, just being outdone by wise old owl Tiësto, who, though playing a huge number of gigs (134) the 48 year old from the Netherlands has bagged himself a nice paycheck of $39m.
