If you're not familiar with the Hakkasan Group, and to be honest if you're not a multi-million dollar earning DJ, why would you be, they are a global hospitality group specialising in huge elaborate events.
In their words: "Hakkasan Group is a worldwide hospitality company with establishments across North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa. Its namesake is taken from its Michelin star restaurant that set the high-level standard for the group’s collection of diverse brands. Its ‘brand first’ philosophy builds restaurants, nightlife, daylife and soon-to-open hotels, resorts and residences into world-class hospitality brands, all with a focus on service, design, innovation and experience."
Now they have recrtuited the likes of Tiësto, Zedd, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, and Lil Jon to put on a show for the Las Vegas victims fund at Caesar's Palace. Even Celine Dion made an appearance, giving us a rendition of 'My Heart Will Go On' which to the surprise of most got the whole crowd involved.
The whole event went way on into the night and continued until the early hours of the morning, raising through ticket sales and donations an estimated $1m or more.
Amazing work for a good cause.
